Atlantic Basement Systems (ABS) was established in 1993. Corey Walkling joined the company as an installer in 2002 and became the owner in 2004. While he was an installer, Corey was finishing his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. This helped him focus the business in the direction of being successful with an emphasis on customer service, satisfaction, employee welfare, product knowledge, and service.
When the previous owner of our company retired, Corey saw the opportunity to purchase and run this business with his combined skills. As the business has grown and expanded, Corey has provided the requisite leadership and guidance to ensure Atlantic Basement Systems has flourished in recent years. Corey's business ethics are reflected in the success of the Atlantic Basement Systems team, and with his leadership, dedication, and commitment, ABS will continue to prosper.
Over time, Corey has become a certified Basement Waterproofing and Crawl Space Specialist and obtained his Advanced Training Certificate in Sales for Products and Services. Now, he is a certified, trained professional with the Foundation Supportworks network of contractors. The ABS Team will continue to grow under Corey's leadership and we look forward to the next period of expansion with Foundation Supportworks.
He is proud of his family-run and operated business, led by him and his wife Karen. They have even brought some of the kids on board to help with office work and fieldwork during the summers and after school. Their shared dedication to quality customer service is evident in the work they produce each day.
Corey is a community-minded individual and spends his time off from work getting involved in sports, specifically coaching his daughter's hockey team and his son's baseball team. When it's his turn to get active, he loves playing "oldtimers" hockey, golf, and fishing.
